Its long-term vision is to promote good health, fitness, and well-being across all communities in the country, in collaboration with educators for sustainable positive change.

Collaboration with Youth Sport Trust International (YSTI)

Partnerships and Achievements

The Extended Jawaan Champions has also partnered with the Japan International Cooperation Agency to extend its work into underserved communities. The partnership focuses on comprehensive teacher training along with integrating physical education into JICA-supported schools in an effort for wholesome child development. The implementation of a functional Student Management Information System is one of the major accomplishments under the Jawaan Champions Programme. This system will enable tracking of student data regarding the school performance, attendance, and participation in programs to be more effective in properly allocating resources and correctly measuring program outcomes.

Success Stories: Resilience and Innovation

Two success stories are the characteristics of transformation brought into being by the Jawaan Champions Programme:

A Small School’s Achievement: Students from a small school with no outdoor area played modified rounders on a blackboard for a period of six months. When it finally began playing on a proper playground, all their patience paid off. This was an exciting example to show that creativity and determination could dissolve barriers, proving that enthusiasm and innovation might put an end to physical limitations

Jude’s High School: St. Jude’s High School in North Nazimabad felt the cultural change with the incorporation of Jawaan Champions’ modified sports programs. This participation by girls in sports, traditionally a societal taboo, led to increased enrollment and stressed the value of an all-round education that combines the growth of body and mind. Principal Vincent Thomas mentioned substantial improvements in the general well-being of students, their happiness, and their better academic performance, reflecting the far-reaching impact of the program.
